Silicone
Run the bristles of your makeup brushes under lukewarm water. Be careful not to wet the ferrule (the metal part where the bristles are attached), as this can loosen the glue over time.
Apply a small amount of gentle brush cleanser, mild soap, or baby shampoo onto the silicone brush cleaner pad. You can also use a solid brush cleanser directly on the pad.
Gently swirl the wet brush bristles onto the textured surface of the silicone pad. Use light pressure and circular motions to work the cleanser into the bristles.
Continue swirling the brush on the pad until you see the water running clear and no more makeup residue comes off the bristles. Rinse the brush thoroughly under running water to remove all cleanser and residue.
